Description:A relief swept over most of the Sohma family women when it was discovered that all of the cursed Sohma had been born already, especially the one cursed with the Cat. It was finally safe to have children again.
Um. Except there was one problem with this sudden population boom within the family. Kureno, who had been cursed with the vengeful spirit of the rooster, had lost his curse years ago and had been keeping it a secret since then. So, imagine the surprise hundreds of miles away that Chise’s father experienced when he hugged his child close to him and was produced with a ball of feathers? He wasn’t a Sohma, he wasn’t even Japanese. Chise’s mother, however, swore internally at herself. She thought she had escaped all of that curse nonsense. It was time to flee, flee back to Japan to find out exactly what the hell was going on with her darling baby girl. Not difficult since her husband, distraught, had to be institutionalized (who was really going to believe that every time he hugged his daughter she turned into a chicken?).
What Chise and her mother found was a family in shambles. In addition to what was going on with Chise, it appeared that other cursed Sohma children had been cropping up as well, cursed with strange animals like a goldfish? A hamster? A crane? What in the world was going on with the bloodline? Akito was having difficulty reeling in the new ones, while holding onto the old ones. Not to mention there was still a particularly nosey little outsider and most of these Sohma’s were of school age.
What will be Chise’s fate? The fate of the Juunishi? The fate of the new cursed?
